Dr. Muhammad Naeem Ahmed completed PhD degree in the field of Organic Synthesis/ Heterocyclic Chemistry in 2015 under the Supervision of Prof. Dr. Khawaja AnsarYasin (firstname.lastname@example.org), University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Muzaffarabad and Co-supervision of Prof. Dr. Shahid Hameed (email@example.com) Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. He spent six months in the Department of Chemistry Tsinghua University Beijing Under HEC Pakistan IRSIP fellowship Program, where he worked on Click chemistry as well as on new methodology for the synthesis of aryl ethers under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hu(firstname.lastname@example.org).He has served the University of AJK as Lecturer from July 1st, 2006 – Feb, 3, 2015, from Feb. 4, 2015 to 13-09-2017 as Assistant Professor. Now he is working as Associate Professor on BPS since 14-09-2017. He also assumed charge as Director ORIC (office of research innovation and commercialization) since 26-08-2019. He has published more than 50 research articles. His research group comprises PhD, MPhil/MSc and BS students. The main focus of his research is Synthesis of different heterocyclic compounds, their theoretical and biological studies and extraction of essential oil/compounds from different plants.
